Sweet Gunner was the only little boy that would cooperate with our pumpkin idea. Hayden made it in the pumpkin, but Gavin wanted nothing to do with it.

Gavin will have a hard time deciding which one is the best one!

For Halloween we all decided to go to the pumpkin patch and find some large pumpkins for the three little ones, Gavin, Hayden, and Gunner. Unfortunately it was very windy and cold and Hayden was not happy. The wind made him feel like someone was blowing in his face, which makes him very angry. But Gavin had a good time with all the activities and we found 3 large pumpkins. After we got home we got the boys dressed up and took them over to the Extension Center in Carthage and made some stops to let people see them all dressed up.

We Made It!

Saturday night we finally stopped in Gainesville, Florida. We were just too tired to make it any farther. We then had a late start on Sunday of 9:30 and we made it all the way to St. Charles, MO by around 11 pm. On Monday morning we met my mom in Burlington so she could dog sit Charlotte while we visited Josh's parents in Illinois. We plan on staying here for a couple days before we have to head to Branson to meet the moving truck. Hayden was an angel for the trip, which made it so much less stressful for us.

On the Road Again...

So here we are, back on the Florida turnpike about to partake in a new adventure and chapter in our lives. I'm sitting here in the back seat with Hayden to my left and Charlotte to my right. We're hoping to make it to the Georgia border tonight and quite possibly all the way there on Sunday. We'll both drive tomorrow in order to make this happen. We were really hoping we would have been able to leave earlier today, but since it was a very nice day in Florida with mild temperatures, the two drivers didn't get any help from the local moving office today. They will be making stops in Indiana, Illinois, and near St. Louis before unloading at our new place. We are their final destination planned for November 2nd. Please be thinking of us for the next couple of days that Hayden does well in the car and that Charlotte does alright as well.

Hayden had a rough day today as Mommy and Daddy went shopping for daddy to get some new work clothes. Hayden was such a good boy and all the salespeople commented on how good he was and of course how cute he is!!

Well Halloween isn't for a few more weeks, but yesterday I dressed up Hayden in his costume. At first he didn't mind it, but I wanted to get some more pictures of him and he decided he was done being a model for me.

Well we're far from freezing temperatures, but we decided to be prepared for our upcoming move and trip to Colorado. Plus, I couldn't resist dressing Hayden up.

The mattress in the bassinet can be turned one way for cold weather and another for warmer weather.

The stroller also offers a pram option, which comes with the set and you don't have to buy it separately. This came in handy this afternoon when Hayden was fussy and was fighting taking a nap.



Since the airport destroyed Hayden's stroller we had to get a new one. We decided to go with a different one that has different features. We really liked our other one, but decided this one would work better in all areas besides just paved areas. I love that he can either face me or face the world while we're out for a walk. It also has a bassinet that can be used instead of the seat.

4 Month Stats

We just got back from Hayden's check-up and he weighs 17 lbs. 10 oz., is 27 inches long, and his head circumference is 18 1/4 inches. He is off the charts for weight and head and is over 95th percentile for length. He was so brave for his shots and only cried a little bit. I'm sure he'll be more cuddly for the next couple of days.

Hayden rolled over all the way yesterday. We knew it was coming because he had been rolling to his side for quite a while. He finally decided to roll all the way over to his tummy. Too bad Daddy wasn't home to see it.

Happy 4 months Hayden!

Hayden is sure growing fast. We don't have our appointment until Monday so I'll post his stats then. He is such a joy and happy baby and we can't imagine life without him.
