Up Late Again

Well last night I couldn't sleep and tonight I fed Hayden his "supper" bottle pretty late so I'm up just waiting to feed him his bedtime bottle and watching The Sound of Music, but thought I'd post a couple of pictures from tonight before I straighten up the house.

Just cuddling with Daddy before his bath. He'll have his 3 month pictures tomorrow and we're really looking forward to that.

Buddy Map

I found this on another blog, but let us know where you are!! Just scroll to the bottom and add your location to our map.

Some Recent Pictures of Hayden

Hayden still loves his bouncy seat and it keeps him occupied to let Mommy and Daddy eat dinner or get some chores done around the house.

Hayden sleeping in his carseat after coming home. He recently got a carseat toy and loves it! He sits in the backseat and talks to it. We weren't going to get him one of these, but made a visit to Babies R Us and gave in.
Giving Daddy some smiles

"Yep, I'm adorable!"

Hayden is growing by the day. He's drooling a lot and likes to suck on his hands. When he's fussy he's telling Mommy that he needs a nap and when he's really crying he wants to eat. Otherwise the only time he gets upset is when he's been working too hard with tummy time. He's taking a six ounce bottle every four to five hours during the day and lately he's been sleeping through the night to where Daddy feeds him when he gets up for work so he can spend some extra time with him. It doesn't always work this way as sometimes Hayden wakes up at 4:30, which is still when Mommy's on duty.

Blog = New Career

So there's this woman who has 6 children and during an outing at the grocery store, one of her children snuck in some Pokemon cards. Not letting them get away with this, she put the cards up for bid on Ebay. Check out her ad. Many people have asked if she has a blog and this has turned into getting offers from magazines to publish her writing. Amazing. She is also working on a book. Check out her blog!

Let's Leave it to the Pros!

So, I entered our pictures into the site and no wonder it's so hard to tell. I'll redo it from time to time to see how much it changes.

Mommy's Little Boy

Who knew having a boy would be so much fun to dress up?!

More Comparisons

Hayden 2 1/2 mos.

Lea 4 mos. and Josh 2 1/2 mos.

The Verdict is still out. Who does Hayden look like?

Catching some ZZZZZs

Hayden fell asleep in his swing this afternoon and I caught all the cute little noises he was making. I love when he smiles in his sleep.

Our Niece Emma

I finally got some recent pictures of little Emma. She's so smart at just 22 months. She knows her letters, numbers, colors, and speaks in full sentences. My favorite sentence of hers is "Hayden is adorable". How could I not like that? She loves babies, puppies, and getting her hair done. I can't wait to see her soon.

Happy Birthday Papa Joel

Calling Papa Joel to wish him a Happy Birthday!!

Missouri Here We Come!

So it's official! We are moving to Missouri in October. Josh is taking a position as counsel with his mom and stepdad's company. He is excited about this new opportunity and will give him a chance to spend time with family and friends. Josh's best man, Andy Schmickle, lives nearby and they have a young son just 5 months older than Hayden. We hope to be house hunting after my sister's wedding at the end of September. I'm going to miss a few things about Florida.

1. Friends- I've had a good time getting to know Josh's friends from high school and their spouses.
2. Being able to go see the ocean whenever we wanted
3. Palm Beach Gardens- particularly The Gardens Mall. There is just no mall like it. Where else can you have Nordstrom, Burberry, Tommy Bahama, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co. and also have Sears in the same mall?
4. Whole Foods Market- We actually just went here for the first time when Marie was visiting, but I loved it. I found my favorite shave lotion that I would otherwise have to order online. Avalon Natural Products are great.
5. Driving down the road and scanning every body of water searching out an alligator. I actually did get to see one in its natural element near Sarasota. I don't actually want to come across one as I'm terrified of them, but for some reason I am also fascinated by them.
6. The townhouse- I really like where we're living right now, but it'll be great to get a house with a yard that we can call our own.
7. Driving on Jupiter Island where Tiger Woods lives, even though it's pretty much impossible to get a glimpse of any house because they're covered by 20 ft. hedges.
8. The mild Florida winters.

Talking to the Fishies

I caught Hayden talking to his little buddies this morning. It was so cute, but when he sees me taping him he gets quiet.

Coo Coo Cooing

Our little guy has been "talking" more and more everyday and we finally got a good bit recorded. I love hearing his little voice, especially when it's not him crying!

Our Journey So Far

I thought I'd put together a little slide show that chronicles how much Hayden has changed in the last two months. It's been quite an adventure and we are excited to be living it!

Hayden is 2 months old!

Hayden turned 2 months yesterday and we celebrated our 1st anniversary. Hayden now weighs 13 lbs. 11 ounces and is 24 inches long. His head circumference is 16 1/2 inches. He is in the 90th percentile for all 3 measurements. He also had his shots today and poor little Hayden made out like a champ. I think it was harder on Mommy. He slept most of the afternoon and by early evening was playing like nothing happened.

Hayden and Uncle Louis

Uncle Louis came to visit little Hayden. We had to be very sneaky in getting these pictures uploaded onto our blog.
