On Sunday we got season passes to Silver Dollar City and had a great day. Hayden loved the splash park the best and was always sneaking away to get back to the water. It was cute. He also loved the ball pit where they could shoot balls out of the gun. He was having fun picking out the balls and loading up the gun while Daddy aimed. Then we rode on some rides like the frogs and the bugs before getting some homemade ice cream. When we got home he crashed and did a little planning in the yard and after dinner went out to the park.

We've had a couple 80+ degree days here so it was nice to get the kids in their summer clothes and enjoy the weather. Hayden is still fighting a runny nose since Easter weekend, but he's slowly getting better.

Ava is 8 months old!

Ava is now 8 months old! She is getting stronger by the day. She is so close to being able to go to a sitting position by herself and even stands up on her own. She still hates baby food so we're struggling with that. She is so cute when Josh gets home from work. She just looks at him and lights up with her hands clasped together.

This afternoon we went to Disney on Ice. This show was set for the Incredibles family to take a trip to Disney, but low and behold Syndrome has come to capture Mickey and Minnie and to wreak havoc at the adventure park. Hayden really loved the show. When it first started his eyes got big and his mouth was open wide with excitement. He did really well and only showed a little bit of impatience and then it was intermission. Ava enjoyed the show too and was happy on my lap the entire time.

After seeing the Easter Bunny today we went down and let Hayden run around and climb at the play area in the mall. We've been so bad about getting professional pictures done for Ava so I stopped into Kiddie Kandids and did a photo session with her. They LOVED her. She was done with her pictures in half the time it normally takes because she was being so happy.

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail...

Before we left we took some pictures of them dressed up to see if we could get any with both of them smiling. NOPE! The first one was cute of Hayden giving Ava a kiss and we managed to get a little smirk out of Hayden in another.

Oh wait wrong bunny! We saw the Easter bunny today. For some reason both kids were in a daze and did not produce any good smiles, which is rare for Ava. Hayden was really excited to see him and gave him a hug as soon as he could get on his lap.

New Pictures

Ava has gotten really good at sitting up in the last week. She loves to sit and play with the toys around her and doesn't really care for being in the bumbo because it is just too confining. She likes the exersaucer for short periods and is just starting to like the jumperoo.

Hayden climbs on EVERYTHING. He has no fear.
