Today Hayden is 8 months old. It's hard to believe it was that long ago that we were blessed with such a beautiful, healthy boy. I did my "scientific measurements" this month since we don't go back to the doctor until next month and he is 24 lbs. and 30 inches long. WOW! He's gained about 2 lbs. and 2 inches since his six month appointment. He's started babbling a lot more and we've caught him saying "mama" a few times, once when Josh dropped me off in front of Target. Maybe he's not a complete daddy's boy after all.
I joked with Josh about flying down to Florida to vote in the primaries since we haven't made time to register to vote in Missouri, but we could have still voted in Florida. That would've been a lot of fun. I guess we'll have to make a different excuse to visit.

WOW! You're a big boy Hayden! You've got your two Grothaus cousins beat and looks like you're gaining on Gabe! I better tell Auntie Jen to get him some protein drinks and start bulking him up!

What a cute Vday card. Hayden sounds like he sure is getting big and looks like his hair is getting fuller/longer. We probably won't recognize him the next time we see him. Gabe always looks so different, too, by the time we get to see him.
Planning a Vday party? I'd start putting a bug in Josh's ear now since it's a week away. :-)
Alisha is having a shower for her best friend at our house Mar 1, gpa's bday party is Mar 8, couple's bachelor/bachelorette party is Mar 15, and Ashley's wedding is Mar 29. So I don't think Alisha will be home for Easter (Mar 23) this year. Boo hoo. But we understand since they'll be at our house 4 weekends in a row except pulling out Easter wkend. Busy at the Neally house.
You guys can come down anytime, our place is always open. The only date that we are booked at Hotel Neally in Branson is around Easter I think when Lea's parents are coming down.
