Hayden had his Dr. appointment for his 9 month check-up and he is 23 lbs. 12 oz. and 30 inches long. His head is 19 1/2 inches around. No wonder he wears 2T hats! No shots this time, but just a finger-prick to check for anemia. He didn't even flinch, but really liked playing with the band-aid. His latest "trick" is waving to the baby in the mirror. I think he's going to be ready for his first hair cut soon if not already.

Wow...it is so hard to believe that you've been with us for 9 months already. My little buddy is growing up, when he waved today I was very proud, he waved to the baby in the mirror and when I took him away he stopped and then I put him back in front he waved again. I called mommy on the monitor and she snuck down to check it out so he wouldn't get all nervous.
Happy 9 month bday Hayden! You are sure growing fast. You will be playing catch with dad pretty soon.

Unbelievable! Hayden has officially caught up to Gavin! What size clothes is he wearing? I would think pants for that weight would be way too long for him, if they came in a set. That's the trouble I'm having with Gunner right now. He's wearing Gavin's 9-12 clothes and most of the pants are huge. It's not like I can buy another size b/c they are last years outfits. Hope to see you soon!
He's wearing 12-18 month clothes and the pants are only a little long when he's laying down. When I rolled them up and he sat up his skin showed so I put them back down. His outfit in the pic is 12-18 months, but it was one of his outfits for summer, but surprisingly isn't huge on him. His measurements are in proportion so I don't really have an issue with tops and bottoms not fitting the same-- at least not yet.
Hayden is looking older every post. Wow, he certainly is changing/growing. Is he wearing shorts? If so, you must have much warmer weather down there than up here. It's freezing here. Had a very successful bday party for gpa. There was at least 65 people here. Love you and miss you bunches!
I was looking at his 8 month pictures and it is amazing how much different he looks. He is a big boy now, sniff!! Especially his hair. It has gotten so much thicker in just a month. I did a cake for a one year old boy today and she had 12 frames set up with pictures from each month of his life in them, it was a really cute idea. The cake was a cute idea she came up with as well. Something you could easily do, or fly in a certain cake decorator I know:)
I know! I get sad looking back at his younger pictures and I wonder where my tiny (haha) baby went. We'd love to have you at his bday!
